Amazonios: a specialty online store for aquariums and aquatic life

The goal

Specialization without complicated navigation

Aquarium equipment involves many technical parameters and interrelated choices. Visitors need to quickly determine whether a product is suitable for freshwater or saltwater, for a specific tank volume, and for the equipment they already own.

The layout was organized around actual exploration routes: aquariums, filters, lighting, food, aquatic plants, corals, and pond equipment. The same approach guides every project we undertake for the e-shop construction with a specialized catalog.

What We've Accomplished

The experience was designed to ensure that the catalog is user-friendly, scalable, and easy to understand on any device.

  • Responsive online store for mobile and desktop.
  • Catalog structure for 1,350 product URLs and 47 categories.
  • Browse by aquarium type, equipment, and care requirements.
  • Clear product pages with technical information and a call to action.
  • SEO architecture for products, categories, and informational content.

Key Design Decisions

The store's specialization had to remain evident without burdening the experience with unnecessary complexity.

01

Logical list

The categories are organized based on how customers set up, equip, and maintain their aquariums.

02

Technical Information

The key features are clearly presented so that you can choose a product with greater confidence.

03

Directions to the market

The navigation, product page, and shopping cart provide a consistent experience on both mobile and desktop.

The result

A specialized catalog that remains easy to use

The online store brings together 1,350 products and 47 categories in a cohesive structure, ranging from basic aquariums and filters to specialized saltwater and freshwater equipment.

The company can expand its catalog and informational content on an ongoing basis, while the visitor maintains a clear path from need to selection to purchase.

The foundation of the project

The implementation combines a commercial taxonomy, a manageable catalog, and a technical foundation for organic product discovery.
