ASUS PC ExpertCenter P500 Mini Tower P500MV-GR100U2B0 C3-100U/8GB/256GB NVMe 4.0 SSD/DVD±RW/No OS/3-Year NBD Warranty/Gray

The P500MV-GR100U2B0 is a professional ASUS ExpertCenter P500 desktop computer designed for offices, retail stores, reception areas, and organized workspaces that require consistent daily performance. The combination of an Intel Core 3 100U processor, 8GB of DDR5 memory, and a fast 256GB SSD delivers instant responsiveness for office applications, email, web browsing, invoicing, and video conferencing. The Mini Tower form factor saves space compared to a large tower, while also providing easier access to the interior for technical maintenance or future upgrades.

The Intel Core 3 100U features six cores, eight threads, 10MB of Intel Smart Cache, and a maximum Turbo frequency of up to 4.7GHz. The two performance cores handle the most demanding tasks, while the four efficient cores effectively manage background processes. As a result, the P500MV-GR100U2B0 can handle documents, accounting or business software, and multiple browser tabs without any unnecessary complexity. The integrated Intel UHD Graphics handles productivity tasks, presentations, and multimedia playback, but this specific configuration is not intended for demanding gaming or heavy 3D design.

The 8GB of installed DDR5 memory is suitable for basic professional multitasking and common productivity tools. The ASUS ExpertCenter P500 P500MV series features two DDR5 SO-DIMM slots and supports up to 64GB in total, allowing a qualified technician to consider an upgrade when needs increase. The 256GB SSD is an M.2 2280 NVMe PCIe 4.0 drive that reduces boot times and application load times. Its capacity is sufficient for the operating system, office applications, and active business files; however, for large local files, additional storage or a structured network solution may be required.

This specific model, the P500MV-GR100U2B0, is shipped without a pre-installed operating system. This allows the business or its technician to select the appropriate licensed operating system version based on the existing infrastructure, but it means that installation, device drivers, and initial setup are required before the system can be put into production. The series’ discrete TPM 2.0 provides a modern foundation for security features supported by the selected operating system. ASUS’s design emphasizes durability, efficient cooling, and easier access for technicians.

Connectivity supports both modern and older peripherals. The front panel features two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, one USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C port, and a 3.5mm combo audio jack. On the back, there are four USB 2.0 Type-A ports, HDMI 1.4, DisplayPort 1.4, an RJ45 Gigabit Ethernet port, and separate audio jacks. This layout makes it easy to connect a monitor, printer, external drive, keyboard, and mouse. The built-in DVD±RW drive remains useful for businesses that use optical media, older files, or software installations on disc.

For corporate networks, the Gigabit Ethernet port provides a stable wired connection to a router or switch. The manufacturer’s specifications for this configuration state that Bluetooth is not included; therefore, for wireless peripherals, a compatible USB adapter or a device with its own wireless receiver is required. This clear information helps buyers properly plan for the necessary accessories and avoid false expectations based on optional features found in other models in the series. The P500MV-GR100U2B0 is particularly well-suited for environments where a reliable wired connection is a priority.

Measuring approximately 15.5 x 29.6 x 34.7 cm and weighing 6 kg, the P500MV-GR100U2B0 fits easily next to or under a professional desk, keeping the ports accessible. The gray finish is discreet for accounting departments, point-of-sale locations, service desks, and home offices. The 36-month NBD warranty reinforces its suitability for a professional environment. It’s a practical solution for organizations that want high-performance, fast NVMe storage, useful ports, and the ability to expand in the future—without paying for graphics capabilities they don’t need.
