What is EcoTank and what do I gain in cost?;

EcoTank is an ink tank system that is easily filled from vials, without frequent cartridge changes. This significantly reduces the cost per page and the hassle of consumables.

Can I print/scan from a mobile device?;

Yes. With a wireless connection you can print from a mobile phone or tablet, and with the Epson Smart Panel app you can do basic tasks and manage the device from your phone.
